Karakoram Motors (Pvt.) Ltd came into existence in 2003 and has emerged over the years as one of the leading automobile assemblers and importers of Chinese automobile in Pakistan. We own one of the oldest automobile assembly plant of Pakistan formerly known as “NAYA DAUR MOTORS”.
From the very outset our aim is to introduce transportation for common man of Pakistan at affordable price and by the Grace of all Mighty Allah within a very short span of five years we became sole distributor in Pakistan for the two very large and famous automobile brands of China i.e. Changan and Gonow, and has successfully introduced many new models of vans, single and double cabin pickups, light trucks in CBU form and has become the first company of the world to assemble 800cc Chinese single cabin Right Hand Drive pickup outside China.

In addition to sole distributor for Changan brand of vehicles since 2003 Karakoram Motors (Pvt) Ltd. has become the sole distributor of another famous brand of China known as GO NOW as well in 2006 and has successfully introduced its products in Pakistan.
As sole distributor for Pakistan Karakoram Motors introduce other models in subsequent years hence Karakoram Motors would become the first company of the world to start producing RHD Chinese cars outside China.
The company is also planning to introduce the first electric passenger cars in Pakistan; we have already acquired the sole-production rights of a Canadian firm DYNASTY and will very soon start manufacturing these vehicles here.
In addition to automobile assembling and marketing Karakoram Motors (Pvt) Ltd. shall soon be launching indigenously designed 50cc motor bike Engineering Development Board has approved and granted us permission for manufacturing the bike in 2007. |
